The pendant is done with an ethiopian opal and little precious stones ( chrom-diopside, amethyst, spinel, sapphire ) hanging on solid 18 k yellow gold wire .
Ethiopian opals are hydrophane they are getting translucent when they are wet and get their colour back after drying.
This opal is an exeptional stone so please take care ( no bathing, no shower ) and don't put him near heat sources.
